Math, Science, and More

A colleague recently introduced me to CK-12, a website devoted to providing students and teachers with free textbooks, flashcards, online learning, e-learningfree textbooks, flashcards, educational games, videos, simulations, and more. E-learning can be a great addition to your homeschool, national school, or private school education.

Ck-12 includes a student feature as well as a teacher/parent feature. The site is fairly easy to navigate, but make sure you at least visit the following pages on their site:

Tutorial Learning Center

Which includes a site map, webinars, and general information for getting around CK-12. On this page they explain “Our library includes over 5,000 super awesome math and science concepts and FlexBooks with multiple modalities for all learning types including: videos, images, reading, simulations, real world applications, activities, flashcards, study guides, assesments and more!”

math and science quizzes, math science gamesBrainGenie

A place where you can build deep mastery and sharpen problem-solving skills. Learn, practice, and quiz yourself on 5,000+ skills. Compete in real-time multiplayer matches. Win badges and go for a top spot on the leaderboard.
