Virtual Snowman Building and Snow Themed Unit Studies

December is here! Unfortunately some of us live where it does not snow. But, don’t let that stop you and your children from having fun building virtual snowmen (or snow ladies). Here are some links I found for the occasion. Do you wanna build a snowman?

Build a Snowman

http://www.akidsheart.com/holidays/christms/snowman.htm (Loads quickly. Ideal for young children).

http://www.castlearcana.com/christmas/snowman/ This one loads very quickly and is the most fun! It doesn’t have any instructions but all of the ingredients are there to start dragging onto a screen complete with falling snow! You even get to build the actual snowman, not just decorate one.

Make Fun Fake snow with baking soda and hair conditioner!
